Gross, with each deduction on its own line. Recording the net deposit understates your sales and hides commission, processing and promotions, so you can't tell whether delivery is actually making you money. ### Who pays sales tax on Uber Eats and Grubhub orders? In many states the platform collects and remits it as a marketplace facilitator, but it varies by state and platform. Confirm it for each one, keep the documentation, and make sure those sales aren't also taxed on your own return. ### Why are my QuickBooks sales lower than my Toast sales? Usually service fees. Toast counts them in sales, but your books often record them further down the P&L, so the QuickBooks sales line looks lower.
